15 Bar.

The Jura uses 15 bar pressure to extract the coffee. One bar is the atmospheric pressure that surrounds us. 15 bar is 66% more pressure than a espresso machine which uses only 9 bar. 


Fact. 2

The Grinder.

Grinding coffee consistently and evenly is important for good results. Too finely ground and you get over extraction and a bitter taste. Too coursely ground and you get under extraction and a watery taste. The Jura grinder is one of the best in the world in or out of the machine.
